We are seeking a Vice President of Sales and Marketing to join our Home Office team in Irvine, CA. This person needs to reside in Orange County. The VP of Sales and Marketing is responsible for developing and directing sales and marketing strategies and processes to establish and meet targeted census objectives throughout the MBK portfolio. The VP of Sales and Marketing works closely with the corporate management team, regional teams, Executive Directors and sales teams to support the attainment of community occupancy and revenue goals. Responsibilities Essential Job Duties: Develops and manages comprehensive community sales and marketing planning process that aligns with and supports the overall corporate strategic goals and objectives Directs the execution of sales and marketing strategy and oversees the performance goals for the organization. Identifies and communicates sales goals to optimize revenue Develops, coaches, and manages corporate sales team to achieve targeted organizational objectives. Ensures effective deployment of sales and marketing resources. Provides strategic and creative direction for the design, development and implementation of marketing promotions and materials to grow sales and achieve revenue goals. Analyzes competitive data and market research to effectively implement strategies to meet the changing needs of the market Resolves conflicts and facilitates change with Executive Directors and sales team to ensure objective fulfillment and timely response to marketing challenges and opportunities. Establishes and maintains a consistent corporate brand image and experience throughout all communities, promotional materials and events. Develops, analyzes, and manages marketing operating budget and expenditures of all marketing costs to meet budgetary requirements and generate required lead quality to achieve census objectives Meets with direct reports and community staff to provide support, feedback and recognition of their accomplishments Manages the set up and deployment of the Lead Management System (LMS) to support the sales process, effective lead generation and management, and sales and marketing analytics. Actively supports and articulates the MSL's statement of pursuit, purpose and principles/core values throughout all contact with associates, residents, families, vendors, or any person or group affiliated with MSL. Participates in all acquisition and business development opportunities to assist in the growth of MBK Senior Living. Qualifications Knowledge and Skills: Broad functional experience in areas of strategic planning, business acumen, and market development and research, promotions and advertising Strong customer orientation Demonstrated ability to lead, influence, and get results through others Have strong interpersonal skills and good judgment. Excellent communication and presentation skills to diverse population Proven track record of success in improving business results through sales and marketing efforts Ability to handle multiple priorities, effective organizational and time management skills Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales and Marketing or related field Minimum of 5 years plus experience in skilled care, assisted living, or healthcare, sales and marketing Experience with leading corporate team, sales and marketing Experience in senior living communities preferred Physical Demands: Must be mobile and able to perform the physical requirements of the job, bending, kneeling, stooping, pushing, pulling and repetitive motion Ability to sit and work at a computer for long periods of time Able to move intermittently throughout the work day and between divisions Ability to lift/carry up to 30 lbs. and push up to 20lbs. as necessary Moderate to heavy travel required MBK Senior Living is a dynamic, growing company that opened its first senior living community in 2004.
