Since CEO Robert Tillis and President Jason Tillis assumed their roles in 2007, the company has grown both organically and through acquisitions to become a leader in the disposable food service and janitorial supplies industry.The Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily and long-term activities of multiple locations and sales teams across Southern CA. As a Sales Manager you will often be responsible for setting and adjusting sales goals based on deep knowledge of individual geographical location selling patterns. Additionally, the Sales Manager will be responsible for overseeing the training and development of sales leaders and individual contributors. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Rely on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Lead and direct the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Position reports to Regional Sales manager, Western Region. The successful candidate will understand what motivates customers to buy and know how to tap into those needs and desires in an effective way.ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with senior executives to establish and execute sales goals for the regionManage multiple sales teams throughout the regional branches to maximize sales revenue and meet or exceed corporate-set goalsForecast annual, quarterly, and monthly sales goalsEstablish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories; project expected sales volume and profit for existing and new productsDevelop specific plans to ensure growth; both long and short-termReview regional expenses and recommend improvements to reduce expensesMaintain current knowledge of supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitorsReview and revise sales initiatives, strategies, and programs to capture opportunitiesImplement trade promotions by publishing, tracking, and evaluating trade spending.Accomplish regional sales staffing objectives by selecting, recruiting, training, assigning, coaching, counseling, disciplining employees, and enforcing policies and procedures Expand customer base by mentoring district sales representatives; building and maintaining rapport with key customers; identifying new customer opportunities.Assist sales personnel enhance and refine their techniques: manage, develop, coach, control and motivate the sales force to develop their skill to ensure that a high professional standard is achieved and monthly sales target and KPI target are metEducate sales team with presentations by providing regular meetings, strategies, and seminarsQualificationsSeven + years of sales experienceFour + years in a managerial roleStrong communications skillsKnowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint Excellent analytical skills Math SkillsCreative problem-solving skillsAbility to multitaskMotivationalAbility to work well in teams & Build RelationshipsMentor & CoachMarket KnowledgeStaffingClosing StatementAt Imperial Dade, we offer an exciting environment in which to work, learn, and grow professionally.
