Braun Medical, visit .ResponsibilitiesPosition Summary: Under the direction of area leader, performs operator maintenance, make minor adjustments and clean blockages on material handling systems and equipment. Performs medium to heavy material handling functions. Works in the Compounding Area. Fills in for Process Technologist as needed. Responsibilities: Essential Duties

• The extrusion technician extrudes various tubing, rod, shapes and profiles used in manufacturing finished medical devices.\
• The extrusion technician must be able to adjust extrusion line to meet size specifications, resize jobs and operate extrusion machinery and ancillary equipment in a safe and effective manner, following cGMP, quality and regulatory requirements.
• Technicians must understand and perform tasks such as finished part inspection, material identification and handling data collection while meeting all related requirements for documentation and traceability.
• Higher level technicians will mentor and train subordinates when requested and assist maintenance with simple maintenance tasks/work orders.The job function listed is not exhaustive and shall also include any responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor from time to time.Expertise: Knowledge & Skills
