Job Description:

Staffmark has partnered with a leading eco-friendly packaging supplier and is hiring an experienced Assistant Distribution Lead to join this passionate team in Irvine, CA. You will play a pivotal role in the planning and coordination of all warehouse duties and the supervision and training of warehouse employees. If you have a safety/quality mindset, enjoy collaborating with others, and can bring strong team management, problem-solving, and communication skills, you could be the candidate we are looking for!

Pay: $21-$24 per hour
1st Shift Hours: 7 AM - 4 PM

Essential Functions:

Assist in planning, organizing, and supervising warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, shipping, and delivering products.
Sort, organize, and store inventory across three warehouses, along with other inventory management tasks.
Help with unloading and loading shipping containers.
Coordinate shipping and receiving with vendors and trucking companies.
Train staff in using shipping software and warehouse operations, and report crew performance/scheduling issues to the Warehouse Manager.
Resolve delivery complaints and delays as directed.
Assist in setting goals and methods for warehouse operations and developing and modifying warehouse policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

2+ years of lead/supervisor experience
Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for 8-12 hour shifts
