Production Manager will be responsible for overseeing the
Production department and managing the day-to-day operations of
production projects including on location photoshoots, ecommerce
studio shoots, internal content creation, supporting producers and
maintaining budget and expenses.Essential Duties and
Responsibilities
- Assist and manage production of photo shoots including
planning, preparing, organizing, sourcing, scheduling.
- Coordinate and organize all documentation necessary for
productions, including certificates of insurance, contracts,
invoices and model release forms.
- Produce and support the creative from an execution role for all
productions (photoshoots, commercials, brand campaigns, digital
look books, social media)
- Find and scout set locations utilizing the creative concepts
set forth by the Creative Director
- Manage the coordination of all crew and cast associated with
each photo shoot
- Book filming, production venues and locations, organize
catering, and manage the day to day running of production ensuring
it runs on the agreed schedule
- Delegate tasks, organize production teams, and provide solution
to unexpected problems for delays during production
- Update production calendar to house photo shoot schedules and
assigned team members. Coordinate and schedule shoots to align with
the direct mail and digital launch dates.
- Manage the processes and budget allocation of production/
Balancing production budgets: data entry of invoices and keeping
track of receipts for all paid expenses.Additional Responsibilities
- Demonstrate a high degree of professionalism in communication,
attitude, and teamwork with customers, peers, and management.
- Demonstrate high level of quality work, attendance, and
appearance.
- Adhere to all Company Policies & Procedures and Safety
Regulations.
- Adhere to local, state, and federal laws.
- Perform any other duties that may be assigned by VP of
Marketing.
- Understand and comply with all company rules and
regulations.Qualifications
- Previous experience in visual production, preferably in a
supervisory role
- Experience in managing processes around planning, budgets, and
final delivery of creative projects.
- Minimum 2 years in management experience
- Project management of various internal and external budgets and
deadlines under challenging timelines.
- Associate or bachelors degree preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking
environment.
- Positive personality and ability to give and receive
constructive criticism, encourage teammates, and celebrate team
successes.
- Self-driven with a sense of urgency and highly organized.
- Ability to work well in a team environment as well as
independently.
- Strong work ethic.
