What we do:
The Mechanical Technician I is responsible for the Assembly, Inspection, Repair and Troubleshooting of both mechanical and electrical components on advanced rotorcraft, test and support equipment. This position will ensure the safe execution of assembly, scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, preventative maintenance, inspections, functional testing, and troubleshooting in accordance with applicable Supernal and industry guidelines.
This position will be required to work on-site 5 days a week.

  • Interface with Program & Project Leaders, Engineering, Safety, Quality Management, Procurement, Program Management Office, and Test organization members
  • Aircraft Minor and Major Modifications
  • Routine / Preventative Maintenance
  • Test Article Build Up and Maintenance
  • Trouble Shooting of Aircraft and Test Systems
  • General Ground Operations including jacking, towing, and fueling
  • Weight and Balance
  • Track and Balance
  • Electrical Assembly and Repair
  • Must maintain a clean working environment at all times
  • Responsible for accurately completing all required paperwork
  • Must be familiar with standard and non-standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the aviation field
  • Performs build-up and maintenance, ensuring that quality objectives, configuration control, and conformity requirements are met
  • May require up to 25% of domestic and international travel
  • Other duties as assigned

    What you can contribute:

    • Minimum GED or HS diploma required; college degree preferred (an equivalent combination of experience and education may be considered for this role)
    • Minimum five (5) years of experience as an Airframe & Power Plant Technician
    • Minimum three (3) years of experience in Flight Operations
    • Rotorcraft Experience
    • Experimental Flight Test Experience Preferred
    • Knowledge High / Low Voltage Power Systems and Safe Working Practices
    • Composite Assembly and Repair
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Must have the ability to independently prioritize and accomplish work within time constraints.
    • Proficiency with MS Office Suite

      You may also be able to contribute:
