The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our supply chain by efficiently managing our food procurement processes. This role is perfect for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a keen eye for detail, and is passionate about making a significant impact on the bottom line of our organization.Responsibilities:As a Procurement Analyst, you will be responsible for:1. Managing and overseeing the entire procurement process for food manufacturing, ensuring that all procurement activities are carried out in accordance with company policies and procedures.2. Building and maintaining strong relationships with vendors, negotiating contracts, and managing the vendor performance evaluation process.3. Conducting detailed analysis of our procurement process to identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvement.4. Developing and maintaining accurate raw material forecasting analytics to support production planning and ensure the availability of necessary materials.5. Processing purchase orders, ensuring that all orders are accurate and delivered on time.6. Collaborating with different departments within the organization to understand their procurement needs and provide solutions.7. Utilizing ERP systems to streamline procurement processes and improve efficiency.8. Staying up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in food manufacturing and procurement.Qualifications:The ideal candidate for the Procurement Analyst role should have:1. A minimum of 2+ years of experience in food manufacturing, supply chain, vendor relations, perishable foods, forecasting, ERP systems, raw material forecasting analytics, production planning, cost reduction, sourcing, purchase orders, procurement, and purchasing.2. Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.3. Excellent negotiation skills with a proven track record of successful vendor management.4. Strong knowledge of procurement processes, policies, and legal requirements.5. Proficiency in using ERP systems and other related software.6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.7.
