We are looking for an experienced and hard-working Electrician to join our team. As an Electrician in our company, you will be responsible for a range of tasks from lighting maintenance and installation to evaluation of existing electrical systems.
MAJOR DUTIES:
+ Assemble, test, install, and maintain equipment, lamps, ballasts, and fixtures.
+ Determine the causes of system and equipment failures.
+ Advise the management team of critical systems that could be hazardous.
+ Use of a wide range of testing equipment to test (continuity, amperage, and voltage) of electrical systems.
+ Installation and maintenance of wiring systems (lighting, security, fire) and equipment.
+ Connection of power cables and equipment.
+ Installation of grounding systems.
+ Testing of equipment and electric systems.
Physical Requirements
+ Perform manually taxing tasks, including digging ditches, lifting heavy equipment, and maintaining strenuous positions.
+ Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces.
+ Knowledge and experience of building construction, mathematics, security, and mechanics.
+ Take responsibility, pay attention to safety procedures and legal regulations.
+ Knowledge and experience of appropriate building and fire safety codes
+ Team player
+ Excellent organizational and time management skills
+ Ability to use hand tools and power tools
Education and Experience
+ High school diploma or equivalent required
+ State Certified Journeymen License or other appropriate licensing
+ 5 years of experience as a commercial electrician or similar role
