We cater logistics strategies and processes to our customers' needs by utilizing the latest information systems and advanced technologies.
The Analyst, Auto Accounts will provide valuable support in responding to new Customer RFPs and RFQs, evaluating potential new business opportunities, and responding to requests for new services from existing customers. Analyst will also be asked to provide significant support in analyzing business performance and help senior management make strategic decisions by providing recurring reports.

  • Pricing support and profitability analysis

    • Work with management and colleagues to create, review, and question cost and pricing models for all items involved in a proposed service or new operation. Analyst will also be asked to maintain and improve tools used for team projects
    • Identify opportunities to optimize revenue and profitability through pricing strategies
    • Analyze information obtained from Operational teams to confirm financial outcome and create pricing recommendations
    • Prepare PowerPoint presentations and work with Manager/HOD to present these ideas externally and internally
    • Preparation of internal approval documents and supporting analysis, for executive review and approval

    • Support Operations departments for special projects

      • Collaborate with and provide support to Operations and Finance departments on day-to-day tasks as well as special projects
      • Review data, assumptions and price quotes prepared by other teams, to ensure accuracy and provide recommendations
      • Provide comprehensive follow-up and prepare variance analysis studies to assess the outcome of the planned versus actual
      • Collaborate with all pertinent departments to support the development and execution of new business processes with new and existing Customers

      • Data retrieval, manipulation and analysis to support team projects

        • Generate regular team reports, including financial analysis and forecasting
        • Obtain pertinent data from company systems, including SAP, to aid in regular reporting as well as ad hoc related projects
        • Organize large amounts of data, analyze, and make the data presentable for executive and team review
        • Maintain and track rate and tariff schedules, Customer approvals and backup supporting data

        • Contracting support for new and existing Customers

          • Track and maintain all Customer rates (Revenue and Cost)
          • Support the Auto Account Manager in annual Customer rate increases
          • Support executive team with the handling and organization of Customer contracts and associated rate schedules
          • Support team with evaluating contracts prior to Legal and Executive review

            Compensation Range

            • $48,000 - $55,000 per year

                • Excellent written and verbal communications skills preferred
                • Advanced PC skills: Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and database management required
                • SAP experience preferred but not required
                • Must possess high organizational skills and attention to detail
                • Ability to logically and systematically solve complex problems that involve competing priorities
                • Must be able to work independently and at the direction of the Supervisor, Manager and/or National Manager/HOD

                  Education & Experience

                  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
                  • 1 - 2 years of related experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience
                  • Experience in Business Planning and/or Financial Analysis is required
                  • Experience in Vehicle Logistics and/or Automotive Industry is preferred

                    Physical Requirements

                    • Ability to sit in front of a desk and/or in front of the computer for long periods
                    • Repetitive use of hand/grasping product, writing, and typing
                    • Lift up to 15 lbs.
                    • Carry up to 15 lbs.
