you will too.
At Jacobs our Communications Systems BIM Technicians work on
various projects as assigned by the Communications Systems
Designers. This position will play a role in the entire design
process with a focus on Revit BIM/drawing production. May work on
several concurrent projects.
You'll have the opportunity to thrive among a collaborative and
innovative team of designers and engineers of multiple disciplines
to deliver a variety of functions including Software technical
support, QA/QC clash detection, assistance with the preparation of
deliverables, and support for in house developed automation
programs. You'll help us engage with clients and subcontractors as
you offer support for platforms such as NavisWorks, CADWorx and
Civil 3D systems for the construction of our client's advanced
facilities. Working with the other members of our team, you'll
provide technical support for our primary platforms, and oversee
the implementation of BIM on new projects. You'll use your
knowledge to ensure designers are producing clash free designs.

Here's What You'll Need:
High school diploma/GED
US Citizenship
Proficiency with Revit software
AutoCAD design experience
Experience with Microsoft Office programs such as Excel, Word, and
Outlook
Ideally, you'll also have:
Technical or Associate's degree in relevant field or Bachelor's
Degree
At least 2 years of project delivery experience in design, drafting
or engineering.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills---------
Forward thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contribute
with innovative ideas------
Displayed ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden knowledge
base------
Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams,
including multi-disciplinary teams------
