Job Description:
Description - External The Botox Therapeutics & Eye Care Sr.
Analyst, Field Tools is responsible for reporting analytics, sales
tools management and training that enable Botox Therapeutics & Eye
Care sales forces to be more effective and efficient. The role is
also responsible for providing Botox Therapeutics & Eye Care teams
with alignment and mapping support both during regularly cyclical
operations as well as in support of sales force restructures.
Acting as the Field Tools Team liaison between sales & marketing
leadership, Commercial Operations, IT, Training, OEC, Legal,
Med/Reg, research/analytics to oversee the design, deployment,
training, communications, and management of the Field Tools. The
field tools consist of but are not limited to: Advance (web and
mobile field pre-planning), Allocation Management Portals for Buy
and Bill teams, iREP (Veeva CRM), and Thoughtspot. This position
helps to drive field force effectiveness through tools and
solutions by establishing a strategic partnership with the field to
identify tool efficiencies, responding to the unique needs of each
business in a timely manner. Key Responsibilities Include:
Franchise Management: Subject Matter Expert (SME) and central point
of contact for the Botox Therapeutics & Eye Care field tools. This
may include supporting the on-boarding of new sales franchise
teams, new hires, and transfers to the field. Proactively partner
with business stakeholders to review, discuss, and prioritize
system enhancement & business process improvement recommendations.
Operations Management: Support weekly and monthly tool updates as
needed. Collaborate with Targeting, IC Teams, and development teams
on data methodology, approach, framing, enhancements, field
feedback, and new requests from all Botox Therapeutics & Eye Care
franchises. System Management: Works closely with key Business, IT,
OEC, Regulatory and Legal stakeholders to ensure business
requirements are well defined and approved. Demonstrates subject
matter expertise relating to Abbvie business rules, processes and
all field tools. Proactively recommends improvements to streamline
current processes and reduce cycle time. Leverages field network on
co-creation of new processes and solutions. Project Management:
assist in rolling out projects within defined scope and schedule.
Help develop project plans that integrate and align with cross
departmental processes and project schedules, acts as a resource to
provide innovative solutions, mitigate risks, manage customer
priorities, and delivers solutions to improve field force
effectiveness. Solutions Delivery: Infuse a customer focused
mindset to deliver solutions, prepare analyses, and/or enhance
current offerings thus ensuring field teams have everything they
need to succeed and only what they need to succeed. Communications
and Training: Present at sales force team calls, provide support
during field meetings, assist in facilitating focus groups, and
present systems capabilities and improvements to key internal
stakeholders. Customer Relationship Management: Create and maintain
a wide and deep network of relationships with internal and external
partners to ensure business needs are met. Viewed as a trusted
partner and has established credibility with field sales management
and functional support teams. Experience in understanding the
underlying business needs and translating to field and brand needs
to solutions. Alignment Support: Partner with sales leadership to
provide cyclical mapping support as well as larger-scale
engagements that involve re-optimizing and re-balancing the Botox
Therapeutics & Eye Care teams. Accountability / Scope: - Provides
franchise partnership through field tools management,
communications, and training - Work both independently and as a
member of a project team to develop solutions and recommendations -
Supports FP&A leadership in managing large cross-functional
organizational projects - Interacts regularly with all levels of
the organization including cross-functional and cross-divisional
partners Education: - BA/BS degree required or equivalent
experience. Master's degree in business or science is beneficial
(but not required). BA/BS required to ensure effective
understanding and application of business concepts Background: -
Successful candidate will have relevant experience in project,
marketing, sales operations, or information technology -
Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel is required -
Coding experience preferred (i.e., SAS, SQL, R, Python) - Strong
storytelling and presentation skills are required - Experience
working with and directing IT teams with programming and
development requirements is preferred - Knowledge of pharmaceutical
industry, compliance regulations and standards preferred. -
Veeva/Salesforce.com experience preferred - Experience with mapping
and alignment software preferred - Able to manage multiple
tasks/priorities simultaneously with strong sense of urgency -
Strong project management, problem-solving and analytical skills. -
Confidence in providing subject matter expertise to Senior
Leadership, Sales Leadership, and other high-level contacts -
Ability to clearly and confidently articulate complex and difficult
concepts - Ability to develop and deliver training and
communications to large and small audiences - Ability to thrive in
a team environment - Ability to develop and execute innovative,
