The Bio-Rad Laboratories Global Supply Chain's Manufacturing team focuses on building high quality products for our customers in support of testing in clinical diagnostic labs and life sciences research. The Manufacturing teams are located in the Americas, Europe, and Singapore and produce regulated and non-regulated products that range from reagent kits to small and large instruments, plastics, and consumables. They also collaborate and work seamlessly with our supply chain to meet, and exceed, our customers' expectations.Join Bio-Rad as a Maintenance Tech III and support our Irvine, CA manufacturing plant! As our Maintenance Technician, III, you will work with production equipment machinery, conveyor, fill and packaging lines.We are looking for a self-starter that has the ability to work with minimal supervision. The work hours are Monday through Friday, Day Shift: 6 am - 2:30 pm.How You'll Make An Impact:

• 
  
• You will troubleshoot and correct issues leading to unscheduled equipment downtime.
  
• Complete preventive maintenance activities in accordance to established procedures.
  
• Accurate and complete documentation of all activities performed in full compliance with applicable SOPs.
  
• Support production activities and scheduling, as directed by department management.
  
• Provide full-time, onsite support of manufacturing activities.
  What You Bring:
  • 
    
  • You have established experience (5+ yrs) working with automated production equipment, machinery, or automotive.
    
  • Experience in the Medical Device, Pharmaceutical, or Food and Beverage Industries is preferred.
    
  • High school diploma is required, a bachelors degree in a technical discipline is preferred.
    
  • You have an understanding of, and experience with, good documentation practices and record keeping in a regulated manufacturing environment(s). Calibrated devices, and proceduralized work requirements experience is preferred.
    
  • You are comfortable working in controlled environments with specific gowning requirements.
    
  • Experience working in controlled environments is preferred.
    
  • Ability to record work performed using good documentation practices is required.
    
  • Capable use of hand tools.
    
  • Familiarity with voltmeter usage, pneumatic systems and have experience troubleshooting problems on automated conveyor lines.
    
  • You have the required ability to use computers for record keeping.
    
  • You have a good understanding of calibrated equipment and devices with a keen understanding of potential impact to the "calibrated" state when repairs are conducted.

Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors.
