Supply Chain Manager

The Supply Chain Manager manages and oversees Supply Chain
activities such as Procurement, Planning, Inventory Control and
Warehouse Operations at Medical Devices and Consumables
Manufacturing facility. They work closely with Production,
Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Sourcing and Regional and
Global Supply Chain teams to drive KPIs such as on-time delivery,
productivity, inventory turns, EHS recorable incidents, Near misses
etc. They leverage the use of Lean and Fortive Business Systems to
reduce waste along the value stream in areas such as Standard Work,
Transactional Process Improvement and Value Stream Mapping.
Champions the use of SAP, other business systems and leading
indicator KPIs to improve process robustness and efficient decision
making via critical path thinking and enhanced business
intelligence. They are committed to growing the team via new skills
development and cross training. A change agent with the ability to
influence people across the organization as part of driving
continuous improvements. They will work with Suppliers and
Production on Capacity Planning and use Kanban resizing to minimize
risk of stockout while balancing aged inventory and turns.
Duties and Responsibilities
Manages planning, raw materials and warehousing through the site
Develops and implements policies, standards, guidelines, technology
Manages the delivery scheme for raw materials and charge of

Cooperates with relevant department to arrange the raw material
inventory, inventory levels and delivery times, and establishes
alignment with the other supply chain partner.
Manages raw materials budget and warehousing expense annually.
Monitors expenditure of Department's budget allocations.
Analyzes changes in the inventory of material and finished goods
relating to supply, demand and pricing.
Maintains relationships with key suppliers.
Education and Years of Experience
Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain or Engineering. Masters in
Operations Research Preferred.
Minimum 6 years of experience in demand management, supply chain
management, manufacturing planning, materials planning, production
planning or supply chain planning and execution.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Direct experience working in such roles as materials buyer/planner,
production scheduler, supply chain analyst, logistics analyst and
Extensive efficiency in ERP/MRP, Microsoft Suite Applications and
business intelligence applications.
Must be proficient in lean manufacturing techniques with practical
experience implementing and utilizing such systems.
Experience using as well as implementing pull replenishment systems
