Job Description

What You Do: As a member of the Customer Success team, you will work on a wide variety of projects across our Customer organization to create actionable insight from data found within our systems, including Salesforce, Gainsight, Pendo, and our suite of products. These projects include partnering with internal stakeholders to build complex formulas within the report writer, build Data Analytics charts and graphs, and design and build custom Tableau dashboards for use within the Customer organization. The BI Analyst will collaborate with the CS org to define and align on projects to serve the goal of making our data accurate, accessible, automated, and actionable. In our future state, we would leverage this centricity of our data and its visualization to evolve into prescriptive strategies, using data as our guide for what comes next.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Work directly with the CS leadership and CS Operations to design, build, and troubleshoot reports, formulas, dashboards, worksheets, and visualizations using CRM, usage telemetry, NPS, and financial reporting.
  • Demonstrate consultative partnering skills with CS and cross-org stakeholders.
  • Prepare, clean, aggregate, and standardize client data.
  • Build, document, and implement processes and procedures for CS, including Salesforce tracking, end-to-end project management, revenue, and metrics
  • Ensure that all reports, visualizations, and analytics are professional, scalable, and completed within the project scope and timeline.
  • Build a knowledge base library of visualizations, and research new module and Tableau functionality
  • Build the processes, documentation, and metrics needed to support this function, profit center, and center of excellence.

    This is an experienced position in BI working within the Customer Success Operations organization which requires experience with analytics and data visualization. It requires a bachelor's degree and at least 3+ years of experience working with data analytics, statistics, or an analytical software product, especially Tableau. A consultative approach with various functional groups is a must. Understanding of key Customer Success metrics for SaaS organizations is preferred. Candidates should have strong Excel, analytical, and project management skills.

    • Overcoming Objections: An aptitude for conducting tough conversations, including overcoming objections and a knack for keeping clients accountable to reaching their definition of success
    • Communication: Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills with an ability to interact at all levels in an organization including staff, management, and executives
