We cater logistics strategies and processes to our customers' needs by utilizing the latest information systems and advanced technologies.SummaryThis position will be responsible for practical monitoring and planning of the Company quality management process to ensure internal and external requirements and standards are exceeded.ResponsibilitiesAchieves Quality Assurance Operational ObjectivesAddress and discuss issues and proposed solutions with managerIdentify procedures and scenarios for quality controlMake recommendations for improvementValidate and improve quality processesDevelops Quality Assurance PlansDraft quality assurance policies and proceduresInterpret and implement quality assurance standards and proceduresPrepare and update quality assurance proceduresRecommend, implement, and monitor preventative and corrective actions to ensure that quality assurance standards are achievedEvaluate audit findings and implement appropriate corrective actionsValidates Quality ProcessesEnsure that standards and regulations are observedEvaluate the adequacy of company quality assurance standardsSpot areas for improvement to enhance efficiencyIdentify and resolve workflow and production issuesReview training materials and operating manuals to ensure accuracyPrepares Quality Documentation and ReportsCompile and analyze statistical dataAnalyze data to identify areas for improvementDocument evidence, internal audits, and other quality assurance activitiesInvestigate customer complaints and non-conformance issuesPrepare reports to communicate outcomes of quality activitiesOther Duties as AssignedExperience with Process Improvement, Strategic Planning, and/or Quality EngineeringStrong written and verbal communication skillsExcellent attention to detail and highly organizedCritical thinking and analytical skills, ability to deal with complex issues while emphasizing and maintaining ExcellenceProficient PC skills - Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, database management skillsEducation & ExperienceAssociate's Degree OR equivalent combination of education and experience3 - 5 years OR equivalent combination of education and experiencePrior experience in Quality Assurance, and/or Process Improvement preferredPhysical RequirementsAbility to sit in front of a desk and/or in front of the computer for long periodsRepetitive use of hand/grasping product, writing, and typingLift up to 20lbsCarry up to 20lbsStand/walkReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this job.Working and Environmental ConditionsThe work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.Typical office environment with low-level noise exposure.The position is based out of the Irvine, CA officeCommunication with employees and field partners will be primarily conducted via phone and email.The above statements are intended to describe the general nature of work performed by employees assigned to this position.
