We cater logistics strategies and processes to our customers' needs by utilizing the latest information systems and advanced technologies.SummaryThe Analyst, Haulaway Operations position is responsible for ensuring that our vendor invoices are processed and submitted so as to avoid any delay. This is done both electronically through our TMS as well as manually via hard copy invoices. This position will also act as the first point of contact for all customer related requests and ensuring timely delivery of all vehicles shipped out from our ports and railheads.Responsibilities

  • ITMS (Transportation Management System) Monitoring
    • Correspond with carriers via e-mail and phone regarding correction of audit holds and errors.
    • Respond to data integrity issues found in ITMS
    • Follow-up with carriers, ports, ramps, manufacturers and/or IT department to correct bad or missing data
    • Update dealer information in ITMS as well as communicate to our vendors this new information. (New Dealer/ Dealer Re-location/Buy-Sell/Termination)
    • Help new vendors in learning how to navigate ITMS and invoice properly
    • Work with IT department and act as a liaison with the vendor to ensure EDI files are being submitted and received properly
    • Troubleshoot invoicing and delivery file transmission errors for the vendors, identifying root cause issues
    • Customer Service
      • Respond to all customer requests and inquiries in a timely manner
      • Track down and provide Delivery Receipts upon request
      • Relay all customer information to all relevant groups to ensure orders are carried out successfully
      • Correspond with customers via e-mail and phone regarding updates on dealer holds, closures, and openings
      • Special Moves
        • Receive special move requests from customers and bid out moves to truck vendors
        • Negotiate pricing with truck vendors to ensure the best price available as well as the highest quality transportation vendors are used in these special moves
        • Monitor and ensure all steps in the special move process are completed in a timely manner
          • This includes all steps in ITMS, SAP, Vendor Invoicing, and Customer Billing
          • Ensure all special move requirements are met up to the customer's standards, as well as ensuring moves are on time and damage free
          • Invoicing
            • Auditing and processing of manual invoices in a timely manner
            • Monitor and approve invoices in ITMS
            • Log manual invoices to ensure all are paid and accounted for
            • Track trends in department spending on non-standard moves

                  • Must possess the ability to analyze issues that may affect vendor invoicing
                  • Must be able to prepare spreadsheets to help identify trends in audit issuesEducation & Experience
                    • High School Diploma/G.E.D required
                    • Associate's Degree preferred
                    • 1 year of relevant work experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experiencePhysical Requirements
                      • Ability to sit in front of a desk and/or in front of the computer for long periods
                      • Repetitive use of hand/grasping product, writing, and typing
