The Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for performing analysis,
developing and executing plans that ensure that optimal outcomes
are achieved. The position will require the development of planning
tools, in-depth investigation, understanding and analysis of new
product development and cost savings programs as well as for
commercially launched products. Duties & Responsibilities
- Performs detailed analysis of all required inputs, develops
plans with cross-functional input to ensure an optimal transition
occurs from prior generation product (phase out) to next generation
product (ramp-up) such that obsolete inventory is minimized and new
products are launched on time as desired, customer satisfaction is
achieved and inventory levels are optimized.
- Works closely and collaborates with Sales and Marketing,
Product Development, Quality, Document Control, Engineering,
Planning, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Finance, and Customer Service
peers to ensure complete requirements are understood, critical path
is defined, milestones are understood, inventory objectives are
understood, forecast requirements are understood, and company goals
are essentially understood and achieved.
- Consistently monitors reviews, analyzes and identifies issues
or concerns, develops solutions, communicates and updates on
project status and adjusts project plans as required to keep
projects on track such that optimal outcomes will be achieved.
- Collaborates with IT as required to develop and improve
planning and operational tools and systems to optimize operations
management analysis capability and management functionality.
- Conducts analysis of forecasts and performance to identify
solutions for improved future performance.
- Conducts operational performance analysis, collaborates with
cross-functional peers in Finance, Planning, Purchasing,
Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering and Distribution to develop
solutions for improved future performance.
- Works closely with cross-functional peers to analyze and
understand various customer orders, product supply pipelines, and
analyzes and identifies product shortages, tracks CO's/other
documentation, and includes publishing shortage reports as
- Performs analysis of lean manufacturing initiatives to identify
and determine performance, customer service and financial benefits
- Quarterbacks changes as required to ensure compliant and
efficient implementation of changes into the manufacturing and
operations environment such that optimal outcomes and high customer
satisfaction is achieved.
- Conducts post-mortem reviews to ensure valuable lessons learned
are captured and shared throughout the organization such that the
organization builds greater organizational capability and even
better outcomes are achieved in the future.
- Oversees and manages other special projects as required.
- Three to Five years of planning, project management and
financial management experience
- Must have excellent analytical, planning, project management,
communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Must have excellent software application and Microsoft Excel
user knowledge and skills.
- Must have a strong understanding and experience working with
Sales and Marketing, Product Development, Quality, Engineering,
Planning, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Finance, Distribution and

multiple resources to key in on the important influences which will

- Extensive experience of each Minimum Qualification. Education
Bachelor's degree, preferably in a Business or Engineering related
field, MBA is preferred. Physical requirements/Work Environment
This position primarily works in an office environment. It requires
frequent sitting, standing and walking. Daily use of a computer and
other computing and digital devices is required. May stand for
extended periods when facilitating meetings or walking in the
facilities. Some local travel is necessary, so the ability to
operate a motor vehicle and maintain a valid Driver's license is
