ROLE: The Vice President, Global Supply Chain and Engineering will
manage, direct, support and provide leadership across all functions
of the supply chain organization including supply chain system
solutions, operations automation and engineering, project
management, and customer solutions. The focus of this leader will
be to provide global consistency and standardization. The role will
be responsible for establishing the direction and defined action
plans globally regarding the functions outlined above. The position
will manage leaders in each of the functional areas and ensure
alignment with the overall company strategy. Partner with IS/IT
teams, Operations Leaders, Country Chief Executives and BU Leaders
to identify key concerns regarding supply chain process
optimization, operations engineering, quality, customer solutions,
and health/safety to develop strategies aimed at driving
efficiencies while improving productivity and reducing costs.
Manages and directs executives, managers, supervisors, and
professional employees to include staffing and recruitment,
supervision, development, performance evaluation and discipline.
Role will manage and direct teams responsible for major system
RFPs, global engineering projects, supply chain execution and
planning systems. Cross functional collaboration, management, and
leadership at all levels within the corporate offices, business
divisions, and in various distribution centers located throughout
the globe will be required to respond to changing business needs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DELIVERABLES: Global Supply Chain Strategy
Lead the creation and updating of a 3 to 5-year global supply chain
and logistics strategy to include supply chain system
transformation, global network design, global capacity planning,
automation recommendations, and cost optimization. Overall plan to
include business case to support capital investment
recommendations. Determine the buy or build strategy including the
approach to talent and technology solutions. Define the future
state of automation globally - with initial focus on the
Multi-Tenant project in North America. Additional responsibilities
include selecting the final supply chain configuration changes and
capital investment decisions with respect to current infrastructure
and processes that yield measurable improvements of throughput,
capacity, and efficiency with the final objective to reduce labor
and fixed overhead costs. Engineering and Operational Project
Management Manage Engineering and Functional leadership to support
Ingram Micro at a global level. This includes setting the strategic
direction for global projects and managing the functional
department leads to successful execution of projects and associated
return on investment. Accountabilities include site engineering,
interaction with warehouse providers, negotiation and sourcing of
applicable material handling equipment, and facilitation of
interface requirements. Customer and Vendor Solutions Develop and
manage customer solutions and drive vendor optimization
initiatives. Develop the solutions design vision for the
organization. Engage with customers by providing proactive
solutions. Provide solutions requirement definitions for the
supply-chain network Develop new capacity based on customer needs
with a focus on efficiencies. Project management of solutions
design and delivery. Supply Chain System Portfolio Own global
development of the supply chain systems portfolio (warehouse mgmt.,
transportations mgmt., yard mgmt., bid optimization tools, network
capacity/design, etc.) to support global foot print and desired
capabilities. Responsible for creating and standardizing these
systems globally, to include managing the intake of global business
requirements and setting systems related priorities aligned with
CIO, IS, and business teams. Supply Chain Process Improvement Work
with the country leadership to increase productivity, increase
capacity and reduce costs. Focus on improving base functional DC
processes, including transportation and other key functional
processes across the supply chain. Assess, benchmark, and maintain
a current supply chain process maturity model for the organization.
Network Design Develop centralized, global capability to support
supply chain network design analysis and execution. Determine the
country business objective or pain point that will be addressed
with design recommendations and build a business case around it.
Apply company, industry and global policy context to identify
appropriate use cases that fit with the Ingram Micro's priorities
and maturity level. Scope analysis for successful translation of
design into network footprint and product flow patterns. In both
cases, modeling of the network includes creating and comparing
scenarios (i.e., alternative designs for the network) against the
baseline network on their performance on cost, but also on service,
agility, risk, sustainability and strategic growth targets. Develop
the operating budgets, both capital and expense, related to supply
chain systems, engineering, facilities, and warehousing
redesign/operational improvement. Manage all projects within budget
guidelines. Review and approve all CAPEX related requests for
engineering and facility investments. Support functional business
leaders in the negotiation of contracts to ensure optimal exposure
control and service levels. Work with Strategic Sourcing to write
contracts and implement new vendors. Sponsor RFP projects and
ensure final decision meets all objectives while managing costs
effectively. Ensure the development, effective recruitment, and
management of all assets including associates and equipment needed.

the broader organization. WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE:
- Bachelor's Degree in related field, or equivalent work
experience preferred.
- 15+ years' experience in related field (supply chain,
distribution, logistics, inventory, demand planning,
transportation, manufacturing, sourcing, operational excellence,
etc.).
- Prior experiences leading and managing within a fast-paced
environment.
- Prior experience leading large and geographically dispersed
organization required.
- Strong leadership skills and team building skills, along with
the ability to work effectively in a matrix environment. Knowledge
in all phases of supply chain management including enterprise and
functional supply chain systems, facility management, operations,
warehouse automation, procurement, green-field startups and
demonstrated ability to lead enterprise and transformational level
projects. Demonstrated experience with financial administration,
enterprise supply chain system solutions. ERP, WMS, Demand Planning
and TMS implementation experience highly desirable. Experience with
key partner contract and service negotiations, managing personnel,
communicating at executive levels, utilizing interpersonal skills
to maintain effective relationships with other departments and the
public. MS Office experience. Ability to lead people, and
recognize, develop, and reward talent. Demonstrated ability to
build high performing teams, set strategic direction, manage
multiple highly visible strategic initiatives * Position may
