Under the general direction of the Senior Records Analyst, the
incumbent is responsible for the accurate creation, maintenance,
and dissemination of student grades and transcripts in accordance
with federal laws and University and DCE policies. Manages the
issuance of certificates and specializes studies awards. Must
interface professionally with instructors, students, academic
planning staff, and other third parties, to ensure that policies
and procedures are followed. Supervises student workers in unit.
Maintain a positive attitude toward change, exhibit professional
behaviors congruent with the units core values, have the commitment
to work in ways that contribute to making UC Irvine DCE colleagues
work easier, and have the commitment to making each customers

Bachelor s degree from an accredited university.
Excellent English grammar, composition and spelling to prepare
correspondence; skill in speaking clearly and distinctly using
correct English to a wide variety of individuals over the telephone
and in person.
Skills to independently organize and manage multiple projects at
one time, set priorities, perform multiple interrelated tasks, and
Demonstrate knowledge of word processing and database/spreadsheet

Working knowledge of UC academic policies, transcript fulfillment
and degree audit procedures.
Demonstrate skill in advising and counseling students in
registration policies and procedures, course content, requirements

Working knowledge of UC Irvine Continuing Education policies &
procedures and University Cashiering policies.
