The People Operations Analyst is part of a high-energy team transforming HR service delivery for the organization. You will play a vital role as we provide exceptional HR service and guidance to employees, management and the HR team.Key Responsibilities:HR OperationsUtilizing the latest technology, provide operational support and guidance toemployees, managers and HR peers on inquiries related to HR administration and employee data managementHandle escalated and complex employee and manager inquiries Responsible for HR operational processes such as on-boarding, off-boarding and HRMStransactions -Recommend solutions streamlining process, leveraging technology, improving knowledgebase and identifying training opportunities to enhance first touch resolutionSupport and maintain company and HR policiesResponsible for the administration and compliance of the Company's benefits and compensation programs including analytical support Lead a proactive benefits and wellness communication plan and related eventsManage the audit and compliance process for HR operations, benefits and compensation programsProvide education and guidance to employees, managers and HR as related to scopeof job responsibilitiesPerform other duties and special projects as assignedTechnical Competencies:In-depth knowledge of state and federal regulations related to employee benefit plans.In-depth knowledge of relevant state and federal leave of absence laws including PDL FMLA CFRA MLOA andthe interaction of all laws.Ability to understand and interpret complex benefit contracts policies and other plan documents.Ability to effectively communicate with carriers brokers vendors and other benefits service providers.Demonstrated skills using report writer tools to extract data from the HRIS.Demonstrated ability to use Microsoft Word Excel and PowerPoint at an intermediate level.Essential Skills and Experience:Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred3+ years related combined education training and experience in employee benefits administration and communication.3+ years of wellness disability leave of absence and workers' compensation experience.3+ years of HR experience in a corporate environmentKnowledge of local, state and federal compliance effortsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProficient in PC & Microsoft OfficeSuperior organizational and interpersonal skillsCustomer focused, successfully managing customer expectationsStrong problem-solving skillsAbility to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environmentAction and result oriented with an eye for process improvementPreferred working knowledge of HR systems Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
