Edwards is looking for a Product Security Sr Architect who will report directly to the head of product security at Edwards. The primary function for this role will be to drive the secure design and risk management functions of Edwards Lifesciences medical device product security program for our connected devices division. Successful candidate would be working in close collaboration with secure design, software and risk management engineers, providing them with designs for cybersecurity features built into the Edwards connected devices and ensuring that product security risks were properly identified, assessed, addressed and recorded. This role requires prior experience in the embedded devices security space architecting cybersecurity features built into the products design. Experience in medical devices cybersecurity space is a huge plus. The role would also entail responsibilities to mentor and lead cybersecurity targeted professionals in R&D and Quality teams. **Specific Responsibilities:** + Serve as a SME in Windows-based embedded devices security space. Experience of working in regulated industry (FDA/FAA/DoD/etc.) is a big plus + Strong knowledge in the standards space and experience building designs and drive implementation for NIST 800-53 and IEC 80001-2-2 cybersecurity controls + Working with risk based control frameworks to identify, assess, prioritize and address product security risks. Experience with patient safety impact based risks is a big plus. + Provide medical devices division with product security support in all phases of pre-market, such as Design, V&V, Risk Management, and Regulatory Submission + Use cyber security frameworks to standardize flow, content and execution for pre-market cyber security functions + Act as a SME Security Advisor for key IT, product and business initiatives + Present to executive audience the most complex security concepts in a business friendly language + Stay abreast with the cyber security threat and solution landscape to bring innovative solutions that significantly improve Edwards products security posture \#dice \#LI-LP1 \#MI Qualifications: **Requirements:** + 7 years of cyber security experience with a master?s degree or 10 years of experience with a bachelor?s degree leading and executing security projects in at least 3 or more domains out of platform security, application security, network security, infrastructure, cloud security, data security and identity and access management + 3 years of experience working as a product security architect responsible for providing cybersecurity designs and guidance in embedded solutions space + Extensive experience of working with Windows cybersecurity toolkit, coming up with unique solutions for design environments with IoT constraints is highly preferred. + SME in at least 3 domains with embedded security being the primary ? platform security, network security, application security, data security, cloud security, embedded device security + Prior experience in design/build/execution of a medical device program is a huge plus + Ability to collaborate in a very fast paced environment + Expert knowledge in industry standard security frameworks like NIST, OWASP, ISO, etc. + Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting to executive audience About Edwards Edwards Lifesciences is the global leader in patient-focused medical innovations for structural heart disease, as well as critical care and surgical monitoring.
