Golder has anew opportunity for a S **enior Level Hydrogeologist** to join our CaliforniaOperations Team in a **Full-Time** positionin our **Sacramento, Sunnyvale or Irvine, CA** office locations. **Responsibilities:** Golder is seeking a senior level Hydrogeologistto join its California Operations Team. An appreciation for high quality,client focused work products is essential. The ability and willingness totravel locally, regionally, and internationally is a necessity. As a key member of the team, you will supportexisting natural resource, remediation, and oil/gas projects using a strongfoundation in geology and contaminant hydrogeology. Yourprimary responsibilities will include: + Providesenior level technical leadership, support and business development in theareas of hydrogeology, environmental compliance and permitting, andremediation. + Leadthe development and execution of projects in the areas of remedialinvestigations, feasibility studies, mine water management, andremediation services. + Interpretationof hydrogeologic and hydrologic data to analyze and develop solutionsforour clients + Workingwith engineers, GIS specialists, and other environmental experts tocontribute to larger multidisciplinary projects. + Understandingthe appropriate CA and federal regulations and regulatory environment asnecessary to successfully win and complete project work. **Required:** + MS Degree in Hydrogeology, Geology (with hydrogeology focus), with at least 15 years of professional experience required, and with 10 or more years of experience in remedial investigations, solid waste and landfills, and/or mining and mine waste management. + Proven experience in environmental consulting with business development, group leadership, and team building and mentoring. + Technical consulting experience in several of the following areas: remedial investigation, remediation design, remedial construction, business development and project management, hydrology and hydraulics, contaminant transport, groundwater/surface water interaction, and environmental permitting. + Excellent and demonstrated verbal and written communications skills. Desire to effectively communicate technical information to clients, regulators, and colleagues in a readily-understood format. + Strong commitment to quality and timely delivery of services. + Previous Health and Safety training, such as OSHA HAZWOPER or MSHA required. **Preferred:** + Experience with numerical flow modeling and contaminant fate and transport modeling + Strong background in geochemistry of groundwater and surface water + Experience with in situ remedial tools and techniques including: high resolution site characterization, in situ chemical oxidation, in situ chemical reduction, and biostimulation and bioaugmentation. + Demonstrated experience with business development and key account management **Your benefits at Golder will include:** + Competitive benefits and remuneration packages + Option to purchase shares in Golder + Employee owned structure - own the business, own the result + Deepen your expertise in a dynamic work environment + Innovative and collaborative multidisciplinary projects + On the job training, mentoring and coaching Renowned for technical excellence, Golder is a leading, global employee-owned engineering and consulting firm with over a half century of successful service to its clients.
