Job Description:
A company is looking for a Stop Loss Group Underwriter to
evaluate and underwrite group insurance applications.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate risk for group insurance products and analyze relevant
data to determine benefits and rates
Contribute to division profitability by assessing client
profitability through experience and expense analysis
Document and communicate underwriting decisions and maintain
relationships with field personnel and clients
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
2-4 years of Stop Loss group underwriting experience
Proficient in PC skills, including word processing and spreadsheet
applications
Strong analytical skills
Bachelor's degree preferred
