As a Senior Data Architect, you will be a technology innovator and join our high impact team with the mission to accelerate ideation, incubation, and launching new ideas to help Capital Group maintain a unique advantage and prepare itself for the future. You will offer recommendations on how to imagine, develop and launch solutions with transformative power.

From cloud data lake platforms and solutions to innovative insights and analytics, you will address obstacles at their core. You will steer technology strategy by defining target state architectures and oversee development of products, services and experiences that transform Capital Group into a data first organization.

• You have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field or equivalent experience.
• You have at least 5 years of engineering experience with expertise in: big data/data lake, data engineering, data governance, cloud platforms, python, Spark, database/data warehouse design, analytics and BI, API services, AWS, and Azure.
• You're thoughtful in your approach to data engineering best practices. You build and nurture technology strategy and architecture to enable a future-ready, high quality, and responsive platform/ product.
• You are able to translate knowledge to different contexts; including applying that knowledge and insight in one area to benefit another area.
• You contribute to an environment of agile thinkers that are passionate about designing product user experiences enable rapid business growth.
• You are a technical expert with strong business insight.
• You have technology vendor management experience. You've led technology direction, guidance and oversight of vendor solutions and integrations.
• You are familiar with the principles of software development and understand basic code.

  In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
