Our client is a Food Manufacturer looking for a Regulatory and Sanitation Compliance SpecialistAs a Regulatory and Sanitation Compliance Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring our products meet all applicable regulatory standards and that our manufacturing facilities maintain the highest levels of sanitation and hygiene. Your expertise and attention to detail will be essential. Responsibilities:Regulatory Compliance: Monitor and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations related to food safety, sanitation, labeling, and packaging for all products.Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records and documentation pertaining to regulatory compliance, sanitation procedures, and any necessary corrective actions. Prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders.Audits and Inspections: Coordinate and assist with regulatory audits and inspections by external agencies or customers, addressing any findings and implementing corrective actions as needed.Sanitation Practices: Develop, implement, and continually improve sanitation and hygiene protocols for our client's manufacturing facilities, storage areas, and equipment.Training and Education: Conduct training sessions for employees on regulatory compliance, sanitation practices, and food safety protocols to ensure a culture of awareness and adherence to standards.Supplier Management: Collaborate with suppliers to ensure they meet quality and sanitation standards. Review and approve supplier documentation as needed.Product Labeling and Packaging: Review and approve product labeling and packaging materials to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines.Quality Assurance Support: Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to investigate and resolve any quality or safety issues related to raw materials, ingredients, or finished products.Stay Abreast of Regulations: Keep up-to-date with changes in food safety and sanitation regulations, industry best practices, and emerging trends to proactively address compliance concerns.Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in regulatory and sanitation practices and work with cross-functional teams to implement enhancements.Requirements:Bachelor's degree preferred; High school diploma required.At least 1 year of experience in regulatory compliance and sanitation management within the food industry.In-depth knowledge of FDA and USDA regulations, as well as state and local food safety laws.Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), and other relevant food safety systems.Strong understanding of food labeling and packaging requirements.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety.Bilingual in English and Spanish Please send an updated resume to mmccreight judge.com
