Job Description:

We are seeking a Content Creator to join our team in Irvine, CA. As a Content Creator, you will be responsible for managing our platforms including corporate business accounts, lifestyle podcast and other businesses under our umbrella of companies. This position will have a heavy emphasis on video editing while developing social media campaigns, creating and curating content, and analyzing social media performance metrics. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure social media content is aligned with marketing objectives and company values. The ideal candidate is creative, organized, and passionate about social media trends and strategies.Responsibilities:

• Shoot weekly behind the scenes content of our podcast.
• Edit and enhance video clips for various social media platforms, ensuring high-quality visuals, audio, and overall production value.
• Develop and execute social media campaigns and content plans to achieve marketing objectives for our umbrella of companies and podcasts
• Create and curate social media content (including graphics, videos, and written copy) across multiple platforms
• Create engaging and compelling short-form video content from longer videos, interviews, events, or other sources, tailored to each social media platform's best practices.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop a content calendar and strategy that aligns with the company's brand guidelines and objectives.
• Optimize video content for social media platforms, including but not limited to trimming, cropping, captioning, and adding subtitles for accessibility and maximum engagement.
• Manage social media accounts and engage with followers to increase brand awareness and engagement
• Monitor and respond to social media engagement (this will require briefly checking in and responding on weekends as well)
• Monitor social media trends, industry news, and competitor activity to inform social media strategy
• Analyze social media performance metrics and use insights to optimize content and campaigns
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including marketing, design, and customer service) to ensure social media content is aligned with company values and objectives
• Stay up-to-date with social media trends, tools, and best practices
• Work with the Digital Marketing Manager to create social advertisementsQualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field or equivalent work experience
  • 2+ years of experience in social media management, preferably in a corporate or agency setting
  • Adobe premiere experience preferred (or comparable software)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms (including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok)
  • Experience with social media management tools (such as Hubspot, Hootsuite, Sprout Social, or Buffer)
  • Creative mindset with the ability to develop engaging content
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneouslyThis is an in office position with no remote work available.Pay Scale and Compensation Benefits:The Content Creator position will be full-time, with a competitive salary range of $60k - $65k annually based on experience and qualifications.
