For more information, visit .Position Overview: tests production material and maintains quality records and standards.Essential Functions

• Collects and verifies production samples from all manufacturing areas and maintains all sample retain file systems in an organized manner for easy retrieval or reference.
• Tests in-process material versus established specifications.
• Performs weathering functions, which includes, but is not limited to, preparing test panels, exposing, and sending weathering sites, entering data, maintaining weathering panels, reporting data of completion.
• Assists in other QA functions i.e. customer claim sample testing and processing, non-conforming material testing, raw materials testing, verification of expired items and shelf life extension, finished good testing and certifications.
• Follows all safety rules and reports any unsafe acts or conditions to the supervisor.
• Keeps lab in a clean and orderly manner to meet department's monthly 5S goal.
• Inspects and tests rolls; moves rolls around as needed to perform task.
• Maintains lab equipment within specifications and promptly reports any malfunctions. Requirements:
  • Bachelor's in science degree, in a relevant field of study
  • One (1) year of hands-on laboratory experience
  • Strong arithmetic and communication (listening, verbal, written, presentation, inter-personal)
  • Microsoft Office proficient Pay TransparencyThe current pay range for this position is between $23.00 - $25.00 per hour. Rate of pay will depend on factors such as market conditions and location, job-related knowledge and skills, education, training and experience. If hired, employment will be at will.
