JOB DESCRIPTION
Skiltrek is looking for an IT Procurement Sr. Buyer to join their Global Tech Procurement team. This individual will be responsible for supporting the sourcing, procurement, invoicing, and payment processes for the client based in Irvine, CA. The ideal candidate must have experience within the IT/Technology Procurement space -- SaaS, Preputial Software Licenses, maintenance, and support. Must understand licensing models and basic components within IT and be a critical thinker. They will be responsible for leading the sourcing and purchasing activities of new software and services based on business needs. Must have excellent communication skills since they will be communicating with key stakeholders. This position is a 3-month contract and is 100% remote.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
A minimum of 5 years experience or equivalent education/work experience.

Very high level of attention to detail and accuracy in numerical transactions and financial calculations.

Proven negotiation skills with related purchasing experience in organizations with multi-million-dollar budget spend in the tech and IT arena.

Must have experience gained in Tech procurement and in software and services.

Experience in managing suppliers and stakeholders, globally.

Experience in commercial negotiation with global footprint suppliers and vendors.

Medium-level legal contractual knowledge and advanced experience in contract negotiation.

Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with both internal customers and external vendors and suppliers.

Excellent interpersonal (soft), verbal and written communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight timelines and to take initiative when required by specific situations and scenarios.

Able to maintain high confidentiality.
