This position is offered through Robert Half. As the Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk, you will have the opportunity to become an integral part of a company in the Wholesale Distribution industry. Located in Irvine, California, the Accounts Payable Clerk will be a long-term contract / temporary position. Career growth and quick advancement is available in this progressive department. The Accounts Payable Clerk will be required to match and batch code invoices, resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks.Major responsibilities- Carry out daily processes and controls accurately and on time, and ensure compliance with company policies- Implement full-cycle A/P- Manage validating, recording, and mailing checks and expedite special handling- Handle daily department mail by opening, sorting, and distributing it- Sort, register, scan, and store invoices, checks, and other documents- Assist with internal and external audits as needed- Assist the AP/Finance Department with administrative tasks- Perform special projects as assigned- Assist internal business partners with any customer services needs
