For more information, please visit are currently looking for a talent Application Engineer, remote/Hybrid position from Greater Houston AreaPOSITION SUMMARY The Sales / Application Engineer is responsible for engaging clients to review specifications and generate proposals for cyclone systems and parts. This role requires collaboration with other relevant members of the team and with our supply chain partners. In addition to responding to bid requests from clients the person will be expected to proactively engage operators, technology licensors and EPC firms to pursue new opportunities and gather competitive and market data. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Develop, maintain, and improve relationships with assigned accountsEngage customers to ensure accurate understanding of their project and performance criteria for assigned order opportunitiesDevelop and present proposals that meet or exceed customer criteria and create clear differentiation from competitors to secure the orderClosely collaborate with engineering, design & drafting, supply chain partners or other sales resources as needed to develop proposalsLeverage industry knowledge and customer relationships to understand complex customer requirements on both a business and technical levelProvide timely and routine communications to management and other team members on competitive information, product issues, market trends and customer perception of Emtrol-Buell products and services Accurately maintain account, contact and opportunity records in our CRM database () in order to provide accurate quarterly forecastsRespond to leads and professionally within the required timeframe to ensure customer satisfaction and improved lead conversionNegotiate technical, commercial, and legal terms in collaboration with appropriate stake holders such as our legal contracts teamOther job duties as required. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEBachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent industry experienceRequires 7 or more years of related industry experienceDirect experience in refining and petrochemical plant operations or selling solutions into these types of process plant facilitiesKnowledge of refining operations such as fluid catalytic cracking units and other fluid bed applicationsCurrent or past relationships with petroleum refining operators and related technology licensors such as UOP, Technip, Axens, KBR, etc.Must demonstrate excellent presentation, communication, writing and facilitation skillsAbility to adjust strategies and approaches quickly as conditions dictatePossesses a combination of process, conceptual, business analysis and problem-solving skillsAbility to define weekly tasks as needed to meet management and customer expectationsPossess a Valid State issued Driver's License with ability to provide proof of insuranceCECO Environmental is an EEO and E-Verify Employer.
