DescriptionThe Wire Transfer Specialist is responsible for processing wire transfers thought the Bank's eWire Platform. This position is responsible for working closely with the -Wire Manager to ensure all wire transfer transactions are processed in accordance with regulatory requirements & company policies. This position prepares and records journal entries. The Wire -Transfer Specialist -is also responsible for complying with the Bank's established internal control over financial reporting ("ICFR") program, without exception.RESPONSIBILITIES -

• Process wire transfer transactions in accordance with related applicable Banking laws and regulations, -& company -policies -and procedures.
• -Review wires with OFAC hits to determine if flagged entities require further investigation.
• -Sends notifications of incoming and outgoing wire transfers to the respective departments/branches, for further follow up with customers as necessary.
• Assist with system testing related to system conversions resulting from bank acquisitions.
• Records journal entries for funds movement, as needed.QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum 1-year combined experience in a banking related field processing Domestic and International wire transfers required -A reasonable, good faith estimate of the minimum and maximum base salary or pay for this position is $ 21.66/hr -to - 32.49/ hr. Actual compensation will vary based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. A discretionary bonus and/or business line incentive may be provided, in addition to a medical and other benefits, dependent on the position.
