Java Software Engineer

Job Description:

Robert Half is looking for a Java Developer for a contract to full time role out of Irvine, CA. This role is hybrid in Irvine once a week. The ideal candidate will have Full Stack Core Java experience Must-haves:

5+ years' software development work exp. (In USA)
50% Backend experience Core Java (Java 8+); 7 or 8
50% Frontend experience JavaScript/jQuery/CSS/ HTML
Experience building APIs (Restful, JSON, Junit, Spring)
Experience using Microsoft SQL Server Nice-to-haves:
- Experience in Azure DevOps, Git and Docker
- Experience in C++ programming plus
- Familiarity with Linux
- DevOps concepts i.e., Kubernetes, Terraform & CI/CD plus
- Develop solutions for our internal teams using JavaScript
- Update and create new features for our back-end systems
- Strong background in computer science (algorithms, data structures, design patterns, etc.)
