Overview
The EHS Specialist will report to the Manager, EHS Services and be
responsible for delivering EHS programs, procedures, training to
the group companies. - The EHS Specialist will also be called on to
deliver Shared Services to the Group Companies. The Position will
be called on to do multisystem EHS compliance audits.This position
is on site at our Irvine, CA location. -The EHS Specialist will
reinforce Fujifilm's leadership values by transforming the
organization by deploying consistent services and audits - across
the group companies. Ultimately this position will deliver improved
compliance, consistent approach and an effective
organization.FUJIFILM Holdings America Corporation is the holding
company for North American based FUJIFILM companies operating in
many states across the US, as well as in Canada, Brazil and
Colombia and engaged in the research, development, manufacture,
sale and service of FUJIFILM products. The company serves a broad
spectrum of industries in the U.S. including medical and life
sciences, electronic, chemical, graphic arts, information systems,
broadcast, and photography.

Responsibilities
- Field communications from local, state and federal regulatory
agencies as required, and support EHS Manager in completion of
compliance tasks with agencies.
- Maintain and conduct New Hire Safety Orientation.
- Oversee Emergency Response Team and Program including
drills.
- Coordinate implementation of corrective actions as a result of
Employee Safety Observations, Departmental Safety Committees, audit
findings, inspection findings, etc.
- Manage the site's JHA program.
- Field incident reports, conduct investigations, and coordinate
corrective actions.
- Maintain incident records and complete monthly TRIR report for
the site.
- Create One Point Lesson trainings.
- Oversee Departmental Safety Committees
- Oversee Emergency Response Equipment loss inspection
program.
- Manage First Aid and AED services with vendor.
- Manage EHS-related equipment inspections and keep up-to-date
(fire extinguishers, fire risers/suppression systems, etc.)
- Assist with administering new EHS programs.
- Assist with coordinating completion of EHS projects.
- Assist with and track employee requests for Ergonomic related
equipment, as well as with conducting Ergonomic Assessments, as
needed.
- Oversee the EHS Gemba program.
- Coordinate occupational health screenings and ensure they are
up-to-date (respiratory fit tests, etc.)
- Coordinate IH surveys.
- Oversee the site's waste management program.
- Perform additional tasks, as assigned.Required Skills/Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Environmental , Health & Safety or
equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 3 years of Environmental Health & Safety
experience
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Investigative and problem-solving skills with a compliance
mindset
- Knowledge and understanding of EHS principles, policies, and
procedures (preferred).
- Knowledge and understanding of Federal and State regulations
governing EHS and Product Compliance (preferred).
- Knowledge and understanding of EHS reporting requirements to
federal, state, and local governing agencies (preferred).Desired
