Annual Salary Range: $42,000-$150,000The CAR Group is a nationally-recognized group of privately-owned retail automotive dealerships located in Southern California and Florida including the #1 Honda Dealership in the Nation. - We are determined to set the standards in our business for integrity and performance. - To achieve this we will provide exceptional customer experience, be a great place to work and support our community. - The CAR Group is currently recruiting for an ambitious individual to join our excellent team as a Service Advisor at Norm Reeves Volkswagen.Core Responsibilities:As a Service Advisor, you will be responsible for scheduling service work in the Service Department, selling additional needed service to customers while providing excellent customer service to all customers and guests. - The Service Advisor is the conduit between the technician and the customer and must always maintain excellent communication. - Service Advisors will also assist in other various tasks including:

• Greeting customers as they arrive into the Service drive
• Communicating with and listening to customers to determine the nature of the mechanical problem(s)
• Advising customers on the care of their cars and the value of maintaining their vehicles in accordance with manufacturers' specifications
• Offering additional added services to customers
• Preparing thoroughly detailed repair orders after initial inspection with exact instructions, making special note of the main reason(s) the customer brought the vehicle in
• Providing follow-up progress of each repair order throughout the day and contacting customers regarding any repair changes as reported by the technicians
• Effectively analyzing quality control reports
• Processing customer monetary transactions
• Perform other duties as neededQualifications:
  • At least 18-years of age
  • Must have a valid Driver's License and an acceptable driving record
  • Effective interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Excellent decision-making abilities and follow-up skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in both a team-based and independent settings
