Job Description:
SUMMARY: Under direct supervision, the Admissions Advisor,
Senior is responsible for prospective student entrance process of
the campus Admissions Department with emphasis on customer service.
- Assists other Admissions Advisors to help them achieve their
goals. - Gathers information on students, pre-screens and
pre-qualifies potential students. - Performs all duties of the
Admissions Advisor. - Performs routine clerical, office and data
entry tasks. - Provides excellent customer service to prospective
and enrolled students in accordance with the mission and purpose of
the college. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (Every

function of the position.) Handles high volume of student inquiries
and follow up activities. - Continuously follows up on prospective
student inquiries and assigned inquiries in a timely manner. -
Notates conversations with prospective students in Customer
Relationship Management software. - Sends marketing materials to
prospective students. Ensures Admissions team meets goals. -
Assists Admissions Advisors with prospective student obstacles such
as childcare, financial problems, transportation needs and work
schedule. - Assists with monitoring Admissions Advisor's telephone
activities. - Lends support to Admissions Advisor's in order for
them to achieve goals. Strives to secure higher quality assurance
evaluation scores than the Admissions Advisors. Maintains an
acceptable level of prospective student referral inquiries. - -
Responds to all inquiries in a timely manner. - Manages conversion
rates, such as inquiries to appointments, to meet goals. Assists
prospective students with completing enrollment packets. - -
Verifies and records prospective student information. - Completes
tuition information sheet for Financial Aid department. - Discusses
financial obligations with prospective students. - Reviews students
Financial Aid outcomes to determine affordability. Addresses
questions and concerns from new students. - Emphasizes importance
of orientation to new students. EDUCATION: High school graduate or
equivalent required KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE: Two to four year's prior
experience in a counseling or marketing related environment
required. Experience with MS Office. -Experience with data entry
and multi-line phone aptitude. - Experience with reception and
telephone techniques. Ability to maintain confidentiality of all
associate, student and administrative information. Ability to work
effectively in a highly ethnic and culturally diverse student and
associate community. Ability to exercise excellent customer service
skills. Excellent analytical and organizational skills. Ability to
demonstrate strong professional written and verbal communication
and interpersonal skills. Ability to self-direct, self-pace,
multi-task and function well under pressure of deadlines and
conflicting priorities. Ability to work with individuals at all
levels of the organization. Willingness to work a flexible
schedule. Ability to exercise good judgment. Ability to conduct
individual or group information sessions. Ability to make
procedural decisions and judgments with skills in gathering data,
