Job Description:

The Global Supply Chain's Manufacturing team focuses on building high quality products for our customers in support of testing in clinical diagnostic labs and life sciences research. The Manufacturing teams are located in the Americas, Europe, and Singapore and produce regulated and non-regulated products that range from reagent kits to small and large instruments, plastics, and consumables. They also collaborate and work seamlessly with our supply chain to meet, and exceed, our customers' expectations.As a Bio-Rad Quality Control Supervisor II, you will provide leadership and direction in Quality Control. You will develop and implement programs for product testing, trend analysis, compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice/Good Laboratory Practice (GMP/GLP) in support of facility-wide compliance and product quality goals. These might include ISO and other quality initiative implementation. You will plan and execute staff strategies to assure on-time completion of testing. Responsible for release of highly regulated and critical products.How You'll Make An Impact:

  • You will supervise workers engaged in raw material inspection and product testing activities.
  • Monitor daily operations and review QC test data.
  • Monitor the daily back order report and re-prioritize batches appropriately.
  • Formulate, document and maintain quality control standards and on-going control objectives.
  • You will communicate, collaborate, and coordinate with Production and Planning departments to ensure timely testing and release of materials.
  • Oversee the Out of Specification (OOS) and Out of Tolerance (OOT) module for QC test results.
  • Develop and analyze statistical data and product specification to determine QC standards.
  • Develop Installation Qualification (IQ), Operation Qualification (OQ), and Performance Qualification (PQ) validation plans and reports.
  • You maintain historical data trending for raw materials and finished goods.
  • You will actively participates on continuous improvement teams.Provide advanced troubleshooting assistance and training.
  • You are responsible for the stability programs.
    What You Bring:

    • You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
    • You bring 6 or more year's of quality control or manufacturing experience and 3-5 years of supervisory experience.
    • You have strong communication, public-speaking, decision-making, MS Office, and negotiation skills.
    • You provide strong technical and analytical skills required with a strong customer orientation and focus.
    • You have a familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems a plus. Understanding of ISO 13485, FDA regulations, GMP and GLP required.

Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors.
