We are currently seeking a Supply Chain Planner for our Patient Monitoring group. This will be a hybrid opportunity for someone living within North America who lives commuting distance from a Medtronic site. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the patients we serve and an unrelenting desire to improve our business by driving supply chain solutions.

This position is an exciting and new opportunity to work with Medtronic's Patient Monitoring, Respiratory Interventions and/or Medical Care Management Systems businesses. Currently a part of Medtronic, these businesses are being transitioned either into a new stand-alone company (currently referred to as NewCo) or will be merged into the business of another company. While you will start your employment with Medtronic, upon establishment of NewCo or upon the transition of the business unit to another company, in approximately 12-15 months (if we can designate timing; this was in the public announcement) your employment will transfer to one of these entities and you will no longer be employed by Medtronic.

The business will have the same singular focus, financial commitment, deep domain expertise, and global footprint needed to accelerate the development and commercialization of affordable and scalable healthcare technologies.

A Day in the Life

In this role, you will work in conjunction with your manager to execute focused supply chain solutions which support business objectives, including supply planning, inventory management and purchasing. You will also partner with Sales/Marketing, Manufacturing sites, Contract Manufacturers, and regional supply chain to manage product supply and inventory.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to

* Managing Contract Manufacturer relationships.
* Creating and maintaining POs to ensure a strong supply pipeline.
* Monitors key sales and operations planning performance indicators, cost-to-serve performance data, and coordinates cross-functional work teams to increase effectiveness of supply chain initiatives.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

* Bachelors degree required.
* Minimum of 2 years relevant Supply Chain Planning or Purchasing experience, or advanced degree with minimum of 0 years relevant Supply Chain Planning or Purchasing experience.

Nice to Have

* Experience using SAP/APO, or other ERP systems
* Proficiency with MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint focus)
* APICS (CPIM/CSCP) certification
* Excellent mathematics/analytics/statistical skills demonstrated through education or professional background
* Demonstrated project management skills
* Proven ability to meet and maintain customer / business expectations and requirements
* Excellent written and verbal communication
* Medical device or related industry experience
* Ability to thrive in a complex, matrix and growing organization
* Strong understanding and application of principles, concepts, practices, and standards related End to End Supply Chain concepts
* Ability to assess, analyze, and condense complex data or situations.
* Ability to project possible future outcomes and scenarios based on available data. Shapes recommendations to create positive future results despite circumstances or activities that may threaten desired goals
* Ability to adapt to changing customer and organizational requirements
* Experience cultivating a broad network of relationships with key internal and external constituents.
* Good influence management skills and ability to successfully work across geographical boundaries via phone and virtual meetings.
