Description Providence is seeking a Medicare Community Enrollment & Retention Specialist who will:

  • Be Responsible for interacting with senior population aged 65+ and conduct presentations at their group/centers, churches, homes, etc. to sell and promote the Providence Medicare Advantage Products
  • Travel throughout an assigned territory and work directly with community-based organizations, providers, and other sources to obtain referrals
  • Manage their travel and territory efficiently to produce maximum results while generating their own leads
  • Be Responsible for multi-territory member retention strategies, including new and existing member webinars throughout the year and during the Annual Election Period
  • Be responsible to plan, execute and attend in person events Major Challenges: Goal Achievement:
    • Assist in meeting or exceeding enrollment & retention goals within an assigned territory via outreach & sales activities.
    • Conduct group and/or individual sales presentations and enroll eligible prospects either in person or via phone Strategy and Planning:
      • Build and refine territory plan to ensure lead and enrollment goals are exceeded through strong collaboration with all identified growth channels
      • Excellent pipeline management and prospect follow up are a must Provider Network Engagement:
        • Serve as product expert for designated preferred Provider Partners, inclusive of executing on annual business plans and participating in Provider level pull through activities to achieve pre-determined lead and enrollment goals Product Expertise:
          • Serve as a subject matter expert for product portfolio including having a deep understanding of the Medicare Advantage and Medicare Supplement products offered by competitors Administrative:
            • CRM/Reporting, Expense submission, and other administrative tasks as needed Compliance:
              • Ensure all activities are being conducted in accordance with current approved CMS, State and Organizational regulations.
              • Adherence to Policies and Procedures
              • Timely completion of all required certifications, licensing, and continuing education within designated timeframes In this position you will:
                • Assist in meeting monthly sales & retention goals
                • Prospect, initiate and build network/lead base & referrals to grow revenue
                • Deliver persuasive sales presentations to consumer groups & individuals in virtual and in-person environments
                • Deliver persuasive new and existing member retention presentations in virtual and in-person environments
                • Become known as a visible and recognized Medicare resource in assigned territory
                • Adhere to all compliance and company rules and mandates set forth in the CMS marketing and compliance guidelines as well as in the company policies and procedures
                • Promote retention and minimize rapid dis enrollment by providing accurate, consistent and timely service and follow up
                • Manage all leads within the designated timeframe on the company contact database in order to exceed company standards for quality, accuracy and timeliness
                • Become a trusted advisor in the community via cultivation of grassroots and other local events
                • Plan, execute and lead member retention events throughout Oregon and Washington
                • Travel throughout an assigned territory and work directly with community-based organizations, providers, and other sources to obtain referrals, inclusive of travel throughout a specific region to be determined. This role territory may expand to other geographies in the future. Job Specific Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
                  • Ability to move self through the service area in own vehicle (Reliable Transportation)
                  • Must be able to travel within an assigned territory on a daily basis; up to 80%
                  • Early morning, evening or weekend hours may be required Required qualifications for this position include:
                    • 2 years' experience with direct sales or marketing experience, or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background
                    • Valid driver's license Preferred qualifications for this position include:
