Position Summary: This is a role within the Pharmaceutical R&D Product Development group. The incumbent shall be engaged in performing various activities in the new parenteral product developments including analytical testing, analytical method development and validation/verification, formulation development, and stability sample testing etc for a variety of B. Braun's parenteral products. The relevant techniques including pH, HPLC, UV/Vis, IR experiences are required. The candidate needs to follow GMP and other regulated practice for all activities to be performed. Generating data, interpreting data and communicating well are essential for this role . Responsibilities: Essential Duties

  • Support planning and research and lab operation activities.
  • Apply scientific principles to the product development and product release processes.
  • Gathers, processes, and analyzes results and data.
  • Summarizes data and interpreter data, communicates the results to supervisor/manager.
  • Sets up & operates analytical instrumentations and perform troubleshooting Independently.
  • Executes the R&D activities for analytical method and formulation developments.
  • Builds and tests new designs, formulations, materials, or systems for compliance with quality and/or performance standards. The job function listed is not exhaustive and shall also include any responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor from time to time. Expertise: Knowledge & Skills
    • Requires basic knowledge of relevant business practices and procedures in professional field. Uses standard theories, principles, concepts and integrates them to propose course of action
    • Knowledge of USP, EP, cGMP/GLP, FDA CFR & ICH regulations and guidelines.
    • Working knowledge of chemical theories, concepts, test methods and instrumental methods.
    • Analytical and research skills, hands-on experience with wet chemistry, chromatography, and spectroscopy instruments.
    • Good communication (written and verbal), attention to detail and organizational skills
    • Skills using Word, Excel, Power Point for summary and communication
    • Works under direct supervision and from detailed verbal and/or written instructions. Uses established procedures to accomplish assigned task.
    • Some degree of judgment required in resolving problems based on experience.
    • Contacts are primarily with direct supervisor, peers and subordinates. Qualifications

      • Bachelor's degree in related science or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
