Job Description Job Title: Quality Control Inspector Location: Irvine, CA 92618 Duration: 06 months Note: Will need to be onsite full time for training, but has potential to be hybrid once the candidate is trained SUMMARY Perform inspection, of products and materials for production and customer shipment. Include components, assemblies and kits. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Using design documentation such as drawings and specification sheets; perform inspection of electromechanical assemblies, components, cables, harnesses, sheet metal, custom assemblies, subassemblies, plastic parts, mechanical, electromechanical parts, raw materials and shelf life items. 2. Verifies documentation, C of Cs, First Article Inspection Reports, Material certifications, test reports from supplier. 3. Perform visual inspection, precision dimension checks using inspection tools, color verification, marking & damage of parts. 4. Verifies drawing revision level, engineering changes, serial numbers and date code as applicable. 5. Supports the conformity inspection of products via physical inspections, detailed documentation reviews (conformance, compliance, traceability, completeness), and process evaluations (if needed). SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This job has no supervisory responsibilities. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Certificate from college or technical school; or two to four years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. REASONING ABILITY Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
