Through our clearinghouse and secure web portals, we process nearly 200 million EDI transactions, consisting of more than 60 million dental claims annually. The Client Relations Specialist supports the sales team member with a variety of client retention activities. This includes making high-volume outbound calls to our current clients while also providing support to Account Executives, Implementation Specialists, and other Client Support team members.What You'll Be Doing as a Client Relations SpecialistAnswer escalated calls from other departments to support clientsTransition new accounts into mature active/house accounts after the initial 90-day new periodSuccessfully maintain client relations to the satisfaction of our current clientsManage all house account cancellations and related follow-up actions/procedures to save the account and/or resolve their concerns.Administrative responsibilities may include, but is not limited to, faxing forms, authorizing cancellations and change of ownership, and recording cancellation data.Proactively identify clients who may be either considered "at risk" of cancellation or may be a potential candidate for an upsell of servicesCreate and assign account credits and account write offs to billing departmentResponsible for own assigned client portfolio to manage activity, growth, services and cancellationsPerform various administrative tasks and support its own and other sales team members Oversee the retention of assigned accounts including Corporate and Group Practices that may need additional support.Monitor assigned Account Executive's account activitiesMaintain a high level of product and vendor knowledgePerform client demonstrations and software walk-throughs on our products and servicesReach out to clients that may need additional supportWork effectively with other team members/departments to ensure the maximum results for our clients within the protocols established for the positionSuccessfully change priorities as needed and manage multiple projects at one timeMaintain appropriate confidentiality in working with sensitive data/information from both internal/external sourcesMaintain accurate and thorough documentation as per position expectations and our protocolsComply with all Federal, State, accreditation and institutional policies and proceduresExhibit exceptional internal and external customer service with all persons with whom you workConsistently meet company and department policies and expectations including those surrounding attendanceOther duties as assigned Key Success Factors for a Client Relations SpecialistObserve a sense of urgency and initiative in supporting current and potential clientsBuild positive relationships with clients and team members to maximize on client retention and sales growth opportunities with potential/new clientsMaintain a high level of product and vendor knowledge Proven successful at training, communication and conducting demonstrations for clients in a way that results in positive interactions with clients and maximum learning by clientsRegularly meet the productivity and accuracy requirements established Exhibit strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skillsQualifications Needed as a Client Relations SpecialistMinimum of one year of client services experience (major account experience preferred) Strong internet and personal computer skills are a mustAssociates degree or equivalent experience preferredAbility to exercise a high level of tact and discretion for both internal/external interactionsAbility to successfully change priorities and manage multiple projects at one timeAbility to effectively manage time and prioritiesAbility to multi-task and adapt to changing expectations and prioritiesWhat We OfferChallenging and rewarding career opportunity with room for growth as we grow!
