Successful applicants for this position must have received or be willing to receive the COVID-19 vaccine and be fully vaccinated, or have a qualifying exemption pursuant to Arcadis's interactive process. -Proof of vaccination is required. - Role description: Arcadis is seeking a Geologist to join our -Irvine, CA office. Role accountabilities: Responsibilities will include a combination of field and office related tasks including: -

  • Oversight of subcontractor drilling operations
  • Soil or rock core logging during drilling
  • Soil, groundwater, and air sampling in compliance with State and Federal standards -
  • Implementation of injection or other in-situ based remedial technologies -
  • Oversight of remedial system installations -
  • Aquifer testing
  • In collaboration with senior scientists, evaluate data to support conceptual site models for environmental investigations, delineate the nature and extent of contamination, and modify and optimize post-remedy long-term-monitoring programs. -
  • Assist with writing technical reports, work plans, letters, and memoranda -
  • Coordinating work schedules with subcontractors, including obtaining subcontractor quotes -
  • Health and safety stewardship and following safety procedures
  • Work effectively with project teams, clients, and all other stakeholders - - While this position requires both field and office work, the candidate can expect to spend up to 75% of their time in the field. - Qualifications & Experience: Required Qualifications:
    • BS in environmental science, geology, or related field - Preferred Qualifications: -
