Job Description:

The Compliance Dispute Specialist is responsible for handling consumer disputes in accordance with FCRA. He/she must be able to communicate effectively with all layers throughout the company, as well as, our clients and their candidates. This hands-on job requires coordination of resolution of disputes and working closely with the various Operations Fulfillment Teams and CS. The successful Specialist will be a self-driven individual who possesses and applies common sense and contributes to overall satisfaction results. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to:Prioritize, balance dispute workload and ensure compliance w/FCRAEffectively troubleshoot and problem solve Monitor and track dispute activity and prepare report(s)Evaluate and implement solutions based on feedbackIdentify opportunities for process improvement and make recommendation Handle and successfully resolve client and consumer escalationsProvide support and assistance to Compliance team members as neededAdditional projects provided by management as needed

Expected AccomplishmentsFirst 30-60 days: Develop knowledge and understanding of FCRA and various Dispute functionsDevelop some knowledge and understanding of products and servicesBegin establishing collaborative relationships Complete all scheduled training and prepare a list of various tasks/processes he/she deems important for the roleFamiliarize and understand company policies Learn and develop system know-howAt some point during or at the end of the first 60 days, the Specialist is expected to have begun supporting the Dispute team with daily questions, has started with the monitoring of the work load and worked with immediate manager to balance.

Requirements, Skills, and EducationMust have 2-3 years of customer service or operations experience Some compliance experience preferred Some Consumer Dispute experience desiredExperience in background screening industry desiredAssociates Degree or relevant work experience expectedExceptional organizational skills and the ability to multi-task each day to meet schedule demands and complete tasks in a timely mannerProven troubleshooting and problem solving Effective communication and presentation, including conflict resolutionAbility to learn quickly and retain knowledgeAbility to work independently and accomplish tasks without direct supervisionAbility to work well with people from many different disciplines Basic computer skills, including working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SalesForce)The Accurate Way:We offer a fun, fast-paced environment, with lots of room for growth.
