We cater logistics strategies and processes to our customers' needs by utilizing the latest information systems and advanced technologies.SummaryThis position is responsible for conducting compensation studies and job analysis for the organization, and ensuring that Glovis stays abreast of Market pay. The Compensation Administrator will assist with quarterly Pay Equity evaluations, updating Glovis's Corporate Scale for all locations, updating Tier scales, and other high-priority projects.Responsibilities

  • Primary:
    • Evaluate and analyze in-house salary and market data to determine pay grade and compensation offer for candidates.
    • Support and assist the modification of the company's pay practice to better align with market trends and organizational objectives.
    • Assist management in the modification of compensation structures, pay grades, titles, and evaluation methodology.
    • Ensure all job descriptions are updated and accurately filled out prior to job posting.
    • Assist with the upcoming Compensation Adjustment initiative, in which all employees under Manager level will be evaluated and re-comped to be brought up closer to Market.
    • Assist with quarterly evaluations of Pay Equity within the company.
    • Secondary:
      • Under the direction of HR management, assist in national compensation projects - this includes collecting, analyzing data, formulating calculations, presenting conclusions and recommendations.
      • Assist in analyzing and determining semi-annual Tier scales for VPC locations.
      • Assist in analyzing and constructing Corporate Scales for all locations, in order to ensure Glovis pay ranges are in line with market pay.
      • As needed, participate in compensation surveys.
      • Conduct monthly job description audits on job families.
      • Tertiary:
        • Perform annual compensation discrimination testing (EPA), provide updates to executives, and review results
        • Assist with annual Merit sheet and promotions.
        • Ad-hoc reports and projects as needed.Skills
          • Microsoft Office suite - Excel, Word, Powerpoint
          • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
          • Experience with database management systems (HRIS)
          • Must possess strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
          • Must possess the ability to utilize resources to solve a problem
          • Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
          • Must be highly organized and detail-oriented
          • Must maintain professionalism during difficult situationsEducation & Experience
            • Bachelors Degree Required
            • Three (3) Years of Experience in Human Resources or Compensation RequiredPhysical Requirements
              • Ability to sit in front of a desk and/or in front of the computer for long periods
              • Repetitive use of hand/grasping product, writing, and typing
