Job Description:

The Paycom Collegiate Recruiter is a dynamic, energetic, adaptable, and organized recruiter who will recruit qualified students for intern and new graduate positions in designated geographic areas or departments. The Collegiate Recruiter will coordinate recruiting activities, and develop and maintain relationships with academic faculty, staff and student organizations. The Collegiate Recruiter will manage Paycom’s brand and image on college campuses, guide stakeholders on recruitment processes/program, and act as the main point of contact for students. The recruiter is goal driven and has a sales and service mentality with availability to travel nationwide 50% of time during peak collegiate recruitment seasons.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Source, screen, evaluate and select candidates through a structured recruitment process designed to obtain the right candidates.
  • Create and execute individual campus strategies for assigned schools including: events, information sessions, student clubs/organizations, etc.
  • Create and present presentations to small and large groups of students, faculty and staff.
  • Manage full campus process including candidate engagement pre/during/post events, on campus interviews, and offer process 
  • Serve as point of contact for assigned schools, develop and maintain relationships with students, key faculty and school administration to increase brand and recruitment results. 
  • Conduct analysis by semester to determine ROI, new opportunities and strategic changes required for subsequent semesters.
  • Manage assigned campus ambassadors to execute events/initiatives on campus.
  • Track all elements of campus efforts to inform and enhance the effectiveness of campus strategy.
  • Daily usage of technology including: ATS, job boards and other tools to find, track and process candidates. Tool examples include Paycom ATS, LinkedIn, Handshake, Indeed, CareerBuilder, etc…
  • Execution of recruitment branding strategy on campuses including support of Paycom’s social media and digital platforms.
  • Deliver results as measured by campus KPIs, including data integrity, candidate quality and diversity, process adherence, and candidate/business satisfaction.
  • Participate in collegiate specific and other recruiting projects and programs as assigned.

Education/Certification:     

  • Bachelor’s degree required

Experience:

  • 1+ years screening, recruiting, or talent acquisition experience preferred or proof of leadership and/or management experience during college or post graduate.
  • Must be able to handle high-volume, fast-pace, and a collaborative environment under direct supervision
  • Experience working in a metrics-driven, corporate environment

 

Skills/Abilities:   

  • Proficient in Microsoft office
  • Working knowledge of applicant tracking systems
  • Confidence in dealing with people both face-to-face and over the phone
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication ability
  • Time management
  • Ability to effectively use persuasive communication skills.
  • Ability to travel nationwide during peak collegiate recruitment seasons
