Senior Electrical Engineer
The Senior Electrical Engineer will be responsible for project
management, design, energy audits, facilities condition
assessments, construction administration, plan review, and plan
check. Work will also include the preparation of contract plans and
specifications, cost estimates, technical reports/studies,
proposals, meetings, and presentations. Requires an ability to work
on projects from concept stage through construction.
A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required. A
minimum of 5 years' experience in building design of institutional,
educational, healthcare, public, and private development is
required. An electrical PE License in California is required. A
LEED credential is preferred.
The Senior Electrical Engineer should have knowledge in electric
vehicle (EV) charging stations and renewable energy. The Senior
Electrical Engineer should have the ability to run the technical
design side of an EV charging stations program.
Must have the ability to work independently, as well as with a
team, with minimal supervision. Ability to communicate in a clear,
open style is also necessary. Must also be able to lead a design or
review team and be able to manage several people in his team.
The Senior Electrical Engineer will also be required to
interface directly with clients and be able to fully communicate
and address client's problems/questions/comments in a clear,
professional manner. This person must be able to execute duties in
a "work-share" environment.
