As a Retirement Plan Service Manager, you will lead a team of
associates responsible for providing service and support, via phone
or email, of our proprietary retirement plan products:
RecordKeeperDirect, RecordKeeper Multifund, and PlanPremier (TPA).
Additionally, you will provide guidance to associates that support
clients and business partners -i.e., participants, plan sponsors,
financial advisors, third party record keepers and administrators,
external businesses, as well as other American Funds (AF) companies
to ensure accurate and timely delivery of service to established
plans and maintenance of process and procedures.

- You will ensure consistent delivery of superior service across
multiple channels (i.e., Service Portal, email, inbound / outbound
phones, mail) to intermediaries, plan sponsors, and plan
- You will establish and maintains relationships with key
internal and external partners.
- You have experience collaborating with senior managers to
select, develop and maintain an effective team of between 9-11
- You will participate in projects and key business initiatives
by leading and or representing interests of Retirement Plan
Services on projects and ensure alignment with larger business area
objectives and business plans.
- You will be able to manage end-to-end processes; evaluates
service delivered and impacts to other internal departments to
ensure business requirements are met.
