Hemophilia Community Executive - Southwest

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The primary responsibilities of this role, Hemophilia Community Executive, Southwest, are to:

  • Develop strategic plans for targeted accounts to include access opportunities;
  • Develop primary strategy and pull through initiatives for targeted Hematology Treatment Center (HTC's);
  • Have strong platform skills and persuasive communication abilities;
  • Support region as disease and product expert for sales training;
  • Be a member of Commercial brand planning team;
  • Have primary focus on high priority customers in hemophilia clinical community;
  • Contribute to strategic planning and implementation of Regional growth strategy;
  • Educate Account Executives and Regional Managers on emerging concepts in hemophilia treatment;
  • Serve as disease and product expert to sales training;
  • Build productive external work relationships;
  • Cultivate strategic, long term, productive relationships with nurse Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), mid-level practitioners and MD's within the hemophilia community;
  • Develop strategies and pull through educational opportunities for targeted HTC's and large accounts;
  • Exhibit strong communication skills and persuasive abilities;
  • Serve as a liaison, educator and promotional conduit to hemophilia;
  • Be a key driver for hard to access accounts;
  • Generate new scripts for Bayer hemophilia portfolio;
  • Educate, persuade and articulate favorable position for Bayer hemophilia product portfolio;
  • Take lead on project initiatives;
  • Exhibit strong problem-solving skills;
  • Provide KOL feedback to Bayer internal partners;
  • Disseminate approved product education and communicate favorable positioning for Bayer portfolio products;
  • Act as key contributor to revenue generation;
  • Exhibit strong persuasive communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Possess advanced clinical knowledge in hemophilia;
  • Articulate scientific concepts into a cohesive presentation to enhance sales;
  • Display self-starter mentality;
  • Exhibit excellent presentation and platform skills;
  • Demonstrate strong business acumen;
  • Develop and leverage customer partnerships as a strong value proposition;
  • Generate clinical conviction for hematology franchise;
  • Exhibit personal drive and passion for people and performance;
  • Demonstrate accountability for actions and results;
  • Portray understanding of reimbursement, healthcare trends and public policy;
  • Exhibit deep knowledge of hemophilia products and disease states;
  • Educate Health Care Providers (HCPs) regarding hemophilia products and disease states;
  • Serve as Bayer internal cross functional partner to hematology account executives and Regional Sales Managers by providing product and technical support;
  • Act as a clinical resource to Hematology BU;
  • Enhance value proposition to customers;
  • Share enhanced clinical knowledge via peer to peer support;
  • Enhance relationships with key customers through supporting optimal patient outcomes and experiences.

Your success will be driven by your demonstration of our LIFE values. More specifically related to this position, Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree with RN license and at least four years of clinical expertise in Hemophilia or eight years of experience in strategic account management with prior sales experience in Health Care industry;
  • Able to handle extensive travel, overnight and weekend;
  • Project management experience;
  • Ability to work with teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Biological Science or related discipline;
  • Advanced Nursing degree.
