We are looking for adedicatedLand Surveyor to grow with our
collaborative team and work on a variety of mapping and land
As an Instrument Technician, you will be part of a survey field
crew working on projects involving all aspects of the
infrastructure business. You will perform land survey field
activities including but not limited to construction staking,
linear measurements, and setting survey monument points.
You will be responsible for maintaining a Company vehicle,
tools, and equipment that are assigned to you.
You will need the ability to perform outdoor physical
activities, including pounding stakes into the
ground with a ten pound sledgehammer, lifting up to 50 pounds,
carrying equipment up steep
inclines and walking around construction sites and undeveloped
land. Your dependability,
attention to detail, accuracy, good communication skills and
professionalism will ensure your success at Jacobs. You'll grow
your surveying career as you achieveproject goals, comprehend
scopes of work and expectations of clients.
Most importantly, you'lltake actionto ensure the safety, health
and well-being of yourself and your team.
Surveying experience should include 2 years as an instrument
technician with increasing experience and responsibility.
Familiarity with and ability to accomplish advanced technical
surveying tasks using Trimble equipment and software
Ideally, You'll Also Have:
Bachelor's or Associate's degree in survey related field
Advanced experience as a Survey Technician
Land Surveyor Intern (LSI)
Advanced experience with laser scanning, photogrammetry, remote
sensing, LiDAR, CAD, GIS, subsurface utilities, or ROW
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, Trimble Business
Center, Microstation and Civil 3D
