The Role - we are seeking

Responsibilities:

  • Develop controls strategies and algorithms for energy consumption optimization, charging, range estimation and low voltage management
  • Develop algorithms for vehicle systems, including software architecture, implementation, integration, and test
  • Research and develop solutions to various controls problems that cover multiple domains including electrical, mechanical, and thermal
  • Work with the hardware and de-bug system issues, using the test loop to optimize your code
  • Collaborate with Systems Engineers to define vehicle, sub-system, and component requirements

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or Software Engineering
  • Minimum 3-5 year's experience in Automotive Battery or Electrical Motor Design
  • Great verbal and written communication capabilities
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
  • Able to work in a team environment and individually, able to build working relationship with both external and internal to LMC
  • Self-motivated, can-do attitude and a positive outlook

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with power electronic validation efforts at different test levels
